As an entrepreneur I came across a business opportunity that helps people make money and save money in one of the fastest growing industries in America doing direct selling from home. I have no inventory, office, or employees, and yet I make money with a business in the telecommunications industry. You too can become financially free and independent of the 40-year employment tradition because our economy shows it doesn't work the same as it did 80 years ago. Do what you want now not at retirement.

Honesty, this idea came about in thinking what can be one’s goal or vision, the why that explains your actions and the reason you have a business or want to have a business.

On that thought, I believe the goal should be to do what you want to do because you want it and it feels right to you, and so the conversation took place:

 

 

 

Surfer:

So I sent you the reports you asked for that meeting this afternoon, did you get them?  you look a little uptight!

Business Man:

Yeah thanks I got it, but I am a little worried because this is the marketing manager and we want to impress them with our sales tactics

Surfer:

Wait, are you kidding?
Isn’t the marketing that should lead to sales and they should be the ones impressing the sales team?  

Business Man:

ah… you may be right, but where is your suit – what’s with the surfing outfit?
Are you taking time off or demonstrating something?
No one said we had a demo today

Surfer:

Not off!  There is no policy to wear suits for meetings and this makes me feel that I am contributing to something bigger and better.

Business Man:

I don’t know, how can you be so relax when our jobs are on the line? I mean we are doing our best in sales and the company doesn’t appear to grow, I know it’s not us!

Surfer:

First you need to relax!
And second your first is holding you back!  When your clients feel you worry they won’t buy, besides it’s been raining dude! today is our first sunshine!

Oh, and third, the growth of the company is not all in number of clients, it can be seen through “analytics – over time” check out the reports we’re all over the net!  everyone is talking!

Business Man:

no I didnt see the reports but you know what? i am going surfing with you! Handle the meeting and I’ll make us reservations.  SHOW THEM THE MONEY!… or the analytics.

Surfer:

All right! what we are doing is on target! they’ll love it! Oh, and your wife will pcik us up at 3, she said the meeting should be on location, smart marketing manager she is!

De acuerdo al Censo Nacional de los Estados Unidos, la población Latina Americana está creciendo a un promedio de casi 24% entre 2001 y 2006 comparado a otros americanos de diferentes raíces, lo que indica que hoy día existen más Latino-Americanos en los Estados Unidos con familiares en otros países.

En términos de comunicación como llamadas telefónicas, el uso de correo electrónico y similares medios de comunicación como el llamadas de video, son herramientas utilizadas por los hispanos y demuestran que el mercado para estos servicios está creciendo y continuará incrementando por un buen tiempo, suficiente para que usted aproveche la oportunidad de ganar dinero en este negocio de mercadeo.

La verdad es que esta información no es tan novedosa, compañías telefónicos y de servicios de internet se han dado cuenta de este fenómeno y han lanzado muchas campañas hacia el mercado latino, las cuales hemos tomado con afecto porque en la mayoría de casos nos ahorran dinero en llamadas al exterior. Pero esa no es la razón de porque estoy escribiendo este artículo, la verdadera razón es que el mercado latino debe ser alcanzado por su misma gente latina y muy efectivamente a través de mercadeo.

De acuerdo a datos del censo, el porcentaje de personas latinas en los Estados Unidos con educación básica o menor es mucho más alto que el resto de las razas americanas.  Hay un 12% de latinos que han buscado educación universitaria, comparado con un 27% de otras razas, de acuerdo al censo de 2006, los números seguramente han incrementado para el 2011. Esta información nos da una indicación de la cantidad de hispanos que no sienten tener la oportunidad de lograr tener un negocio, por la falta de educación universitaria que generalmente es indicativo de la persona que pueda tener su negocio, pero en mercadeo esto no es necesario.

Actualmente la mayoría de gente consideran la educación no es un requisito para un negocio, y en el mercadeo son muy pocas las personas que entienden como funciona. Actualmente en el mercadeo hispano y las ventas directas cualquier persona que desea tomar control de su tiempo y dinero puede tomar esta oportunidad y alcanzar sus sueños de libertad  de deudas y lograr seguridad financiera. Es la personalidad de cada individuo la que ayuda al triunfo de un negocio en redes de mercadeo.

Transformación mental para su negocio en mercadeo

El primer paso en hacerse un pequeño empresarial es aprender del mercadeo en red con un cambio mental de consumidor a proveedor. Aprendimos que el porcentaje de hispanos sin educación universitaria es alto, aprendamos también que existe un gran porcentaje de latinos con su propio negocio, lo cual indica que esta impregnado en nuestra sangre el deseo de progresar y ser independiente de trabajos empresariales y salarios fijos. Es impresionante porque son muy pocos los que ven las infinitas posibilidades de tener un negocio propio. La mayoría de la gente se consideran ser consumidores y nunca han considerado pensar que pueden ser proveedores. Sin temor, hagamos una transformación mental de ser simplemente un consumidor y comprobemos que podemos ser proveedores y que podemos tener un negocio de mercadeo en red con éxito.

Teléfono Inteligente -smartphone - No. 1El artículo publicado por la revista Popular Mechanics titulado “101 Gadgets that changed the World” destaca lo que sabemos desde el principio, no es nuestra imaginación, la verdad es que realmente encontramos muy difícil vivir sin el teléfono inteligente “smartphone”.

No hay duda en mi mente que los iPhones y los Androids son la ola del futuro para el teléfono inteligente.  Los sistemas de operación (OS) están mejorando cada día y nuestra adicción a compartirlo todo no parece tener final. Usamos nuestros dispositivos inalámbricos para cosas tontas como “estoy entrando al restaurante…” y las cosas realmente útiles como “cenamos en tal lugar … y nos pareció..blah blah blah.” que tienden a ayudar más a los negocios. Como un empresario con su propio sitio web, usted tiene la ventaja de recibir opiniones vía revistas publicas o comentarios a través de su teléfono inteligente y de esa manera usted puede llevar tráfico a su sitio web, por medio de vínculos de retroceso (backlinks), los cuales ayudan a clientes, empresarios y empresas de igual manera.

¿Qué otros nombres tenemos para el teléfono inteligente?

Ya sea que le quiera llamar teléfono celular, iPhone, teléfono inteligente o Smartphone, PDA (procesador personal de datos personales / PDA), organizador portátil, o tabletas, estos dispositivos son la mejor invención que hemos tenido desde que apareció la nevera. Bueno, tal vez no tan lejos, pero usted entiende a donde voy con esta idea.

El panel de “Popular Mechanics”, cuya tarea fue de revisar y analizar varias invenciones para encontrar 101 artículos que pudieran encajar en la descripción de los “gadgets,” eligieron el Smartphone o teléfono inteligente (iPhones y androides) como el número 1.

¿Quién hubiera pensado en el 1981, que este sería el caso? Cuando aparecieron los móviles en el mercado muchos pensaron que no tendrían éxito, a diferencia de los televisores que todos querían tener uno en su casa, los teléfonos fueron vistos como un lujo no al alcance de la gente sencilla, hoy en día todo el mundo tiene un teléfono inteligente.

Importancia de las redes de mercadeo.

La mayoría de nosotros no sabemos de qué se trata el mercadeo en red o redes de mercadeo generalmente porque nuestro tiempo está dedicado a trabajar para alguien y no poseemos el poder comandante sobre sí mismos.  Las razones son infinitas y posiblemente nacen de no tener suficiente ambición para cambiar nuestra vida y posición financiera. Nunca nos enseñaron a vivir más allá de un salario. Crecemos con la idea de terminar los estudios escolares y de pronto nos encontramos en una etapa en la vida en que no nos interesa nada que no esté asociado con una fiesta; nos llenamos la cabeza de cosas insignificantes y cuando menos lo esperamos nos endeudamos y tenemos que pagar. Básicamente lo que hicimos fue construir un círculo vicioso en el que constantemente perseguimos el cheque del trabajo para pagar nuestras deudas, es como ver a un perro persiguiendo su propia cola.

Quiero establecer la base de lo importante que son las redes de mercadeo y cómo personas comunes como nosotros podemos aprovechar una oportunidad de crecer, tener nuestro propio negocio, y salir de ese círculo vicioso de trabajar 40 años hasta jubilarse.

Explorar las redes de comunicación en cualquier ámbito en el que nos encontremos es el primer paso que cualquier persona debe tomar para ganar confianza en sí mismo.  Cuando estamos buscando trabajo, no existe mejor esfuerzo que platicar con toda la gente que conocemos e informarles de lo que buscamos y de lo que hacemos, en silencio estaremos presentando una tercer dimensión de información que es: confianza en sí mismo, enfoque y otras habilidades que poseen la gente de éxito.

Robert Kiyosaki, autor del libro Rich Dad Poor Dad ha demostrado un gran interés en el mercadeo en red. Kiyosaki es una fuente de información que no se duda y nos ofrece consejos indispensables de porque un negocio utilizando redes de mercadeo es la respuesta  a seguridad financiera en el futuro para cualquier persona en su libro The Business of the 21st Century.

En este blog encontrará various articulos que he escrito indicandoles lo importante que es asegurar su future financiero y la seguridad de sus fondos de jubilación, pero también es muy importante, si no más importante por la urgencia, el tomar una decisión ahora, para buscar los medios de ganar dinero extra para poder pagar las deudas, la casa, la educación universitaria de nuestros queridos, en fin las tantas necesidades que día a día se ven muy difíciles de pagar.  Para los hispanos es muy importante tomar la iniciativa de tener una mentalidad de empresarial y buscar oportunidades para hacer dinero, especialmente para aumentar la cantidad de hispanos que no han atendido educación universitaria por la falta de dinero.

La confianza del consumidor en la economía nos está forzando a economizar en todo gasto posible.  De acuerdo a la Revista Bloomberg  en su artículo “Consumer Sentiment in U.S. Plunges to a Three-Decade Low”, el desempleo ha caído a lo más bajo en tres décadas, lo que indica que la oportunidad de establecer un negocio propio y ganar dinero se hace una realidad en forma de un Plan B o plan secondario.

La incertidumbre de cuando estaremos estables nuevamente es más grande que los ahorros que la mayoría tenemos en el banco. Sin embargo tenemos necesidad de continuar con los productos que usamos a diario y los que hemos acogido como indispensables. Por ejemplo, el teléfono móvil, la energía eléctrica en nuestros hogares, al igual que la energía de gas natural, y para los que tenemos negocios la búsqueda de ahorrar e incrementar los ingresos.

Alcanzando al consumidor con ahorros.

No parece ser novedoso el hecho que muchos negocios están utilizando mercado a traves del internet y de móviles, lo que es impresionante es que muchos negocios pequeños no están usando estos servicios por temor a que no saben cómo empezar y cómo manejar el mercadeo. Otras razones de no usar esos servicios es temor a que el precio de anunciar sea muy cotoso. La verdad es que no es difícil ni costoso, efectivamente toma un poco de tiempo, pero esos negocios pueden recibir ayuda en cómo utilizar productos que incluyen formas de mercadeo para aparatos móviles como los teléfonos ‘Android’ y iPhones utilizando cupones electrónicos o mensajes de texto, y un sitio web con localización que pueden categorizar su negocio entre los primeros en los buscadores de internet, al igual que otros medios como criticas de clientes y menciones en redes sociales.

Otros servicios que los negocios pueden utilizar incluyen reuniones a través del internet con video. El costo de reuniones de esta categoría puede ser un costo adicional en la mayoría de compañías que los ofrecen, pero Business Elite ofrece estos productos en un paquete a un precio muy cómodo.  ¿Cómo le gustaría oir el teléfono sonar más a menudo con clientes que buscan su producto?

Cuantos clientes podrá conseguir si les ofrece ahorros en los productos que andan buscando?  O sea que si le ofrece a alguien pagar más por un producto hoy pero mañana les ofrece algo en que pagarán menos, no cree que ellos escogeran pagar menos?  Si tiene un producto que ofrece ahorros y consumidores que quiren esos ahorros, su negocio propsperará en corto tiempo, lo mejor es que prosperé no solo una vez sino mensualmente por el tiempo que sus clientes tengan sus cuentas vigentes.

El efecto del consumidor en los negocios.

Si puede ofrecer a un empresario una reducción en la cuota del servicio que acepta las tarjetas de crédito y débito e incrementar clientela para un negocio, el empresario o dueño de un negocio tomará su oferta. Con una de las cuotas más bajas es posible ahorrar hasta dos tercios de lo que estén pagando, en término de dos a tres meses se verán los ahorros y gananciaslas.

Nada es mágico y todo requiere trabajo, pero el que está listo para hacer algo tiene esperanza y la oportunidad de tener un negocio propio que le puede ganar dinero constantemente en forma de ingresos residuales y ahorrar mientras paga sus mismas cuentas de servicios, tiene una verdadera bendición. Si usted como consumidor reconoce esa oportunidad de convertirse en un empresario, aprovechese y disfrute de ganancias sin límite. Y como dueño de un negocio, también puede tomar otra avenida de ingresos adicionales.

Muchos dueños de negocios saben lo que se necesita para manejar una empresa y generalmente reconocen oportunidades de fuentes de adicionales ingreso para progresar. To maintain our living standard we need more income, our job alone is no longer sufficient for the high cost of living, credit card debt, college education, and the retirement fund. This makes the future comfortable retirement look grim to more and more Americans.

A home-based business earning residual income sounds like the perfect solution to become debt-free and financially secure. Although a home-based business can take any form, direct selling is the one system that can benefit the greater majority of people looking to make extra money. The problem is that few people really understand direct sellings, let alone the compensation plans.

Learning from the stars in direct sales, representatives of Mary Kay, Avon, Tupperware, and other household names, makes it plausible that we can make money with a business opportunity that fits our life style. In my free eBook (found on this blog), I briefly explain the main issues with direct sales. I provide you with links and several tips offered in the Direct Selling Association (DSA) website.

As promised in my previous article I wrote this to regain hope in the American dream, because at this point in our economy most of the population don’t see a debt-free or worry-free future and a business in direct selling may be the answer so I’ll try to give you a slightly different perspective in this post.

When people talk about a business opportunity in direct sales, they usually refer to an entrepreneur-minded individual who is determined to earn extra income from a business from home and to pay for all those extra living expenses, some luxurious and some necessary.

Direct Selling Business Opportunity For All

First we must clarify that direct selling is not a job, when you do direct sales you are not employed by anyone. Direct selling is something you do on your own, person-to-person, one-on-one selling and marketing of a product, and you decide where you want to discuss your offer, you may have presentations with slides and videos, or you may want to have a simple conversation at a coffee/tea bar. You may want to have a business presentation party in your home or the home of someone interested in your products, in which case your host will invite people who know they will hear about a business opportunity in the direct sales industry with the option to buy or join the company.

Direct selling can be very rewarding when the individual believes and enjoys the products or services to sell. For example, a cook may love selling chocolate or cooking utensils. A technology inclined person may be passionate about digital technology and sell those products. Or the fashion adepts who finds an opportunity to earn additional income selling products they themselves find a must to wear and have.

Is Direct Selling For You?

Selling – the word itself – scares a lot of people. But don’t be afraid, you do it everyday! I would have to mention that I personally believe that a very complacent person may find it difficult to compete with other more outgoing personalities, and they may lack the motivation needed to see results. The usual antidote to that problem is to have a goal and be determined to achieve it, for example, you may have credit card debt of $10,000 and possibly can only pay with extra income.

When looking for that business opportunity we all want to make sure the money you make is legitimate or legal, it’s worth your effort and will actually be a profit after your business expenses, and always keep that goal in mind as you learn the techniques to sell the products, because that may be the motivation you need to succeed in the business. It also helps to know that in the US the IRS rewards you for your business oriented efforts, more about that in my eBook.

We practice selling everyday, although maybe not as extra income.

This can be best explained with an anecdote: you know what happen to children when your store register is lined with candy, they will practice direct selling to get their candy, including promising to eat all their dinner, and you will too when you promise they’ll get it if they can be quiet. So, direct sales in a business opportunity is the same principle, “direct selling” is not weird, it’s a form of business any of us can benefit from. You just need a goal and a reason.

I could go longer with this topic, but I think I made my point. Anyway it will not be far from other posts since my business opportunity with 5LINX is a direct selling initiative, registered, with great compensation plans, nearing a multi billion dollar profit, and rewarding us with stock options and business expenses, and residual income, the overhead is miniscule in comparison to your success.

Residual income.

Therein lies the most difficult phrase to understand for normal people, working class, job dependent, retirement builder, otherwise known as regular folk.

It’s difficult to understand because we are taught in life you earn your living through a paycheck or salary.  Very few are fortunate enough to learn that earning a living and income can also be through the ownership of a business. Of that small percentage of people who understand business, the majority believe that you must spill your life over that business to make money.  Honestly, when one has a business one must work very hard to succeed, the fruits of that success is what will dictate how much harder and how many hours a day one has to dedicate to the business.  A dear friend of mine used to say “work smarter, not harder” I have to admit I am such a hard worker that I find myself always working harder, smart yes, but very hard, that’s what a lot of perfectionists do, and that’s what a lot of people who have no clue what they are doing usually do.  Reaching that balance of working smarter not harder is really harder than it sounds.

I wanted to learn how to make some extra money because I was working so hard and I was hardly earning an income.  I was dedicating over 14 hours of my day to work with the salary half that time, noting that I was a lot smarter than that. Noting that I should be doing a lot better to earn a higher income.  What does it take, I often wondered?
Is it lies, is it blowing your resume out of proportion? It’s been known to happen, unfortunately those statistics don’t exist, probably because everyone believes that is the way to get ahead.  Well, more news, I heard for the first time about residual income, passive income and  I just wondered, what the crap is that?

How can you have a residual income?

It took me a few months to get the concept and perhaps a couple of years to realize that anyone can do that, you just have to know. Getting that knowledge and doing the right thing involves self-development, you have to build your backbone, you have to learn about sales and realize that we do that, “sales” all the time, we just don’t know it.  It starts when we are very young and we want that favorite candy or toy and we plead to our parents to get it for us, there is usually a deal, something like this “if you promise blah, blah, blah…, you can have it.”  Later as we get older we try it with our friends, how many people relate to the exchange that takes place in the school cafeteria of an elementary school “you can have my juice if you share a piece of gum,” that’s the trait of selling, may not be income but it sure is the basis of it, it’s called trade.

The most popular form of selling is the one that reaches people through advertising, big commercial ads advertising a product or service, loud, noisy, big banners that get to you and you can’t ignore, they are so annoying that you can’t forget and you feel subconsciously compelled to buy.  But more powerful is the “word of mouth” advertising campaign, everyone knows about it, and the majority of people know about this through the perspective of the customer, the payables side.

Things are a lot different when you are the owner, the receivables side. Direct sales is like word of mouth advertising, it’s effective, no cost, trust worthy, and loyal, if someone you know tells you about a product you will likely try it because of the relationship.

In my next article I will write a little about direct sales, the impact on the population and where the key lies on the recovery of the economy for many people creating additional sources of income.

It is no surprise that many people are looking for an additional source of income, a business opportunity to secure their financial freedom. The Real Deal With Local Marketing

When people talk about marketing online, the first thought that usually comes to mind is selling their product or service to people who are not close to your business, so naturally many doctors, dentists, plumbers, or small businesses don’t think of the power of local marketing online.  I am not well versed in the history of online marketing, but I am learning of the greatest benefits that spell out the future of local marketing online for local businesses.

To explain the basic importance of local marketing online, I want to first establish that there are several internet search engines and they do vary in their results, however, the one that tops the list may be Google and  close behind are Yahoo and Bing, and not in that particular order.  Now I’d like to point out the projects or business endeavors that Google has been involved in the past few years. This is important because it establishes the dominant factor for Google as the preferred method of searches by people around the world.

Local Marketing by Google Places
When it comes to local marketing the one thing I want you to focus on is Google Places.  For most people using desktops or stationary computers (such as at the office or home), doing local search still involves placing the name of the city in the search box, but most have not discovered the left menu on a results page that gives them the “more” option and the “Places” page. Here, you can change a location of your search, particularly helpful when you are in one city and are making a local search for another city.  Google remembers your search location until you change it.

What does Local Marketing and Google Places do?

Now that Google Places is clear, let me add to this party of knowledge, Google Places is geared to be used by mobile devices, so two things are important here. First, the user of a smartphone device who wants to find something will be given local searches according the GPS feature in their device.  The second important item is for business owners, when they claim their Google Places Page they automatically generate a “mobile ready” page that gives potential customers facts such as name, address, phone number, a map, and other important attributes such as pictures, reviews, etc.

So what is the deal with the Google Places for business owners?

It’s a rather simple and a sad statistic. With a free page, mobile ready environment, top ranking ability, and overall increased exposure for a business you would think every small business would be completely set up, the simplicity of it is overwhelming. However, only 2% to 7% of small businesses are taking advantage of this free local marketing benefit, and that’s the sad statistic.

For starters, it’s easy to see that most people especially small business owners, it is not easy to identify future trends in marketing, even though the signs are right in front of them, in their hands (smartphones).  Second, assuming that they see a bright future in local marketing online or internet, but don’t know how to approach and develop strategies to use local marketing online.  And third, running a business leaves very little time for thinking outside the box, so there may be a fear that a marketing expert will charge them an arm and a leg and they are not sure how they will measure the results. Unfortunately most marketing businesses may promise the moon and the stars and focus their efforts  only in one or two things, when you actually need a combination of at least ten different strategies, all used together, to allow a business to rank at the top of a search and ahead of the competition.

I will not elaborate on those strategies because they require… too many words for this article. I just hope my original message regarding local marketing online for small businesses is clear. Local marketing online is exploding because it is quickly going mobile. Small businesses need to tap into those free resources to attract potential customers.  If I can give a local business the opportunity to receive 10 or 20 new calls a week, it is undoubtedly a huge potential for new customers and business growth, something a smart business owner would immediately understand and want!  Notice that I keep addressing small businesses, that’s because most large businesses already know these facts and are quickly addressing the gap of their mobile marketing strategies.

As a business owner you need to get me on the phone and ask me the strategies you can use right away. Find out more information if this is a new subject to you. If you had a strong knowledge base, then I can only expect that your Google Places Page is complete and your mobile marketing strong with SMS, coupons, etc.  The longer you wait and procrastinate, the more customers that will slip off your hands and the more you will delay the growth of your business. Local marketing online means mobile marketing, the future is here and you must take action and get those customers in.
