Importancia de las redes de mercadeo.

La mayoría de nosotros no sabemos de qué se trata el mercadeo en red o redes de mercadeo generalmente porque nuestro tiempo está dedicado a trabajar para alguien y no poseemos el poder comandante sobre sí mismos.  Las razones son infinitas y posiblemente nacen de no tener suficiente ambición para cambiar nuestra vida y posición financiera. Nunca nos enseñaron a vivir más allá de un salario. Crecemos con la idea de terminar los estudios escolares y de pronto nos encontramos en una etapa en la vida en que no nos interesa nada que no esté asociado con una fiesta; nos llenamos la cabeza de cosas insignificantes y cuando menos lo esperamos nos endeudamos y tenemos que pagar. Básicamente lo que hicimos fue construir un círculo vicioso en el que constantemente perseguimos el cheque del trabajo para pagar nuestras deudas, es como ver a un perro persiguiendo su propia cola.

Quiero establecer la base de lo importante que son las redes de mercadeo y cómo personas comunes como nosotros podemos aprovechar una oportunidad de crecer, tener nuestro propio negocio, y salir de ese círculo vicioso de trabajar 40 años hasta jubilarse.

Anthony Robbins, en su libro Despertando al Gigante Interior discute cinco preguntas que actualmente tienen respuesta en esta oportunidad de negocio, la primera: “¿Cómo puede tomar inmediatamente el control sobre mi propia vida?“ (Pg. 25) me intriga porque es una pregunta que debemos tomar en serio tan temprano en nuestra vida como sea posible.

Explorar las redes de comunicación en cualquier ámbito en el que nos encontremos es el primer paso que cualquier persona debe tomar para ganar confianza en sí mismo.  Cuando estamos buscando trabajo, no existe mejor esfuerzo que platicar con toda la gente que conocemos e informarles de lo que buscamos y de lo que hacemos, en silencio estaremos presentando una tercer dimensión de información que es: confianza en sí mismo, enfoque y otras habilidades que poseen la gente de éxito.

Robert Kiyosaki, autor del libro Rich Dad Poor Dad ha demostrado un gran interés en el mercadeo en red. Kiyosaki es una fuente de información que no se duda y nos ofrece consejos indispensables de porque un negocio utilizando redes de mercadeo es la respuesta  a seguridad financiera en el futuro para cualquier persona en su libro The Business of the 21st Century.

En este blog encontrará various articulos que he escrito indicandoles lo importante que es asegurar su future financiero y la seguridad de sus fondos de jubilación, pero también es muy importante, si no más importante por la urgencia, el tomar una decisión ahora, para buscar los medios de ganar dinero extra para poder pagar las deudas, la casa, la educación universitaria de nuestros queridos, en fin las tantas necesidades que día a día se ven muy difíciles de pagar.  Para los hispanos es muy importante tomar la iniciativa de tener una mentalidad de empresarial y buscar oportunidades para hacer dinero, especialmente para aumentar la cantidad de hispanos que no han atendido educación universitaria por la falta de dinero.

To maintain our living standard we need more income, our job alone is no longer sufficient for the high cost of living, credit card debt, college education, and the retirement fund. This makes the future comfortable retirement look grim to more and more Americans.

A home-based business earning residual income sounds like the perfect solution to become debt-free and financially secure. Although a home-based business can take any form, direct selling is the one system that can benefit the greater majority of people looking to make extra money. The problem is that few people really understand direct sellings, let alone the compensation plans.

Learning from the stars in direct sales, representatives of Mary Kay, Avon, Tupperware, and other household names, makes it plausible that we can make money with a business opportunity that fits our life style. In my free eBook (found on this blog), I briefly explain the main issues with direct sales. I provide you with links and several tips offered in the Direct Selling Association (DSA) website.

As promised in my previous article I wrote this to regain hope in the American dream, because at this point in our economy most of the population don’t see a debt-free or worry-free future and a business in direct selling may be the answer so I’ll try to give you a slightly different perspective in this post.

When people talk about a business opportunity in direct sales, they usually refer to an entrepreneur-minded individual who is determined to earn extra income from a business from home and to pay for all those extra living expenses, some luxurious and some necessary.

Direct Selling Business Opportunity For All

First we must clarify that direct selling is not a job, when you do direct sales you are not employed by anyone. Direct selling is something you do on your own, person-to-person, one-on-one selling and marketing of a product, and you decide where you want to discuss your offer, you may have presentations with slides and videos, or you may want to have a simple conversation at a coffee/tea bar. You may want to have a business presentation party in your home or the home of someone interested in your products, in which case your host will invite people who know they will hear about a business opportunity in the direct sales industry with the option to buy or join the company.

Direct selling can be very rewarding when the individual believes and enjoys the products or services to sell. For example, a cook may love selling chocolate or cooking utensils. A technology inclined person may be passionate about digital technology and sell those products. Or the fashion adepts who finds an opportunity to earn additional income selling products they themselves find a must to wear and have.

Is Direct Selling For You?

Selling – the word itself – scares a lot of people. But don’t be afraid, you do it everyday! I would have to mention that I personally believe that a very complacent person may find it difficult to compete with other more outgoing personalities, and they may lack the motivation needed to see results. The usual antidote to that problem is to have a goal and be determined to achieve it, for example, you may have credit card debt of $10,000 and possibly can only pay with extra income.

When looking for that business opportunity we all want to make sure the money you make is legitimate or legal, it’s worth your effort and will actually be a profit after your business expenses, and always keep that goal in mind as you learn the techniques to sell the products, because that may be the motivation you need to succeed in the business. It also helps to know that in the US the IRS rewards you for your business oriented efforts, more about that in my eBook.

We practice selling everyday, although maybe not as extra income.

This can be best explained with an anecdote: you know what happen to children when your store register is lined with candy, they will practice direct selling to get their candy, including promising to eat all their dinner, and you will too when you promise they’ll get it if they can be quiet. So, direct sales in a business opportunity is the same principle, “direct selling” is not weird, it’s a form of business any of us can benefit from. You just need a goal and a reason.

I could go longer with this topic, but I think I made my point. But it doesn’t have to be that way! The confidence of consumers in this economy is decreasing, hence forcing us to save everywhere. According to Bloomberg Magazine’s article “Consumer Sentiment in U.S. Plunges to a Three-Decade Low – BusinessWeek”, which means the opportunity to become an entrepreneur and establish your own business to make your Plan B a reality is growing strong.

TEntrepreneurhe ambiguity of knowing when will economic stability return is greater than the savings many of us currently have in our bank. However, we need to continue to make use of day to day devices that make our life easier, simpler, more connected, such as mobile phones, electricity and gas to power up and heat up our homes. Money and Spirit: a balance between being content and being ambitious.

When I was growing up, I was taught that being poor was the best way a person could live, money and spirit were to be separate. Having money meant having a lot of worries and problems. And sometimes it could also mean you could be digging your own grave.  But I was also taught to always think of the future and if you have some today save a little for tomorrow, because you may have nothing tomorrow. Well, I grew up satisfied with what I had, content with what little I could have, but I wondered about the people who inherited so much history and richness from their families, names like the Vanderbilt, Kennedy, and Eastman, and wondered what if felt like to have such family history? How was their money and spirit life?

When I was able to start working, I spent all my money on everything I ever wanted. I did not abide by my mother’s teachings of “save for tomorrow” you could say I was out of touch of the balance of money and spirit.  Good or not, I was living to the fullest, but soon enough I felt the need for more money, to pay my car, to travel, to pay my expensive shoes and sun glasses.  Needless to say I cannot figure out what made me buy those expensive shoes and sunglasses back then.

The difference between a degree and earning a high income around money and spirit.

Life goes on and work takes priority, then family comes along, I started to really feel the need for money to help raise my two children.  I decided to go back to school and get my degree so I could look for a job that would pay more and break out of the glass ceiling I almost reached, but the day I could actually earn a higher salary based on a degree was not in sight, I had not yet reached a good understanding of the balance between money and spirit.

In 2007 I learned about the opportunity to have an extra source of income without leaving your work or changing your life, I was skeptical. However, the business strategy, the platform, the products, the training, and the benefits, could not have been better.  Starting to move forward in this business led me to seek more self-development training.  I had done management training at work, and had read the books of Stephen Covey on leadership and self-development as well as other books from the library, but they never made as much impact to me as it happened this time around, I don’t remember reading much about a good balance with money and spirit.

Money and Spirit Bring Happiness

I remember reading in a book about a little girl who had her first taste of business dissolved when her grandmother forced her to return the money she had made from selling candy!  I realized that many of our reactions to business are just that, reactions influenced by the way we were raised to believe.  So I took a deep look at my beliefs, culture, current economic opportunities, and recognized that I first had to make a change in the way I looked at things, particularly making money.  The book by Chellie Campbell was a total inspiration and a guide to how I should approach my future, this might have been my first connection of having the need to balance money and spirit as a healthy recipe for life.

Armed with the knowledge from those books, I started to appreciate the stories of the people who have succeeded in my business and how this opportunity changed their life; I realized this is exactly what we need an honest balance of money and spirit for success. To learn that in this time and age you do not need a huge capital to get into a very profitable business, or the need to make a proposal for a loan from the bank to own your time and money, or to learn that there is no need to spend countless hours in a business where you lose track of your time and never get to see your family because you become a slave to that business, that has been priceless. One thing is key, you must have the right attitude and everything will fall into place including a good balance of money and spirit.  I can show you how the pieces to the puzzle come together nicely, but I know you can find that out yourself. Why money and spirit are so Important.

In spirit and money, not one replaces the other, we should never prioritize money over personal relations… we make it through with prayer and quietly ask for a way to get out of debt and to have an extra source of income, maybe an opportunity.

The saying “give a man a fish and you’ll feed him for a day, but teach him how to fish and you’ll feed him for a lifetime” is so true. I came across an awesome opportunity and have witnessed people I personally know succeed with this home business and a chance to earn additional income that can supersede your regular salary. How I came about a Financial Plan BFinancial Plan B

As with many people around the United States and the World, I also hit the curb, I was out of work, with so much to give, but no income I desperately needed a Financial Plan B.

Five or ten years ago I would have ran to the employment agency, they always find you something quickly, but this time, I was too smart for that, honestly, I had learned that you can and should always have a Financial Plan B.  I had gone through a lot of self-development during my years as an employee, and today I have gone through so many books and videos that I’m focusing on new goals.

It feels like I can breathe now, I was going on autopilot when I was going to work. Driving long distances, sometimes over an hour to get to work and another hour or so to get back home. Overeating at the office parties, over working without being told, exhausted for my family, no time to exercise, and even less time to cook.  When I left the house in the morning, my children were not even up to go to school and when I came back home it was too late to do anything.  How I did this for so many years, it’s beyond me! I could have never thought of a plan b and Financial Plan B really did not make sense to me at the time.

My Financial Plan B (life-saving) Opportunity

When my brother-in-law introduced me to the opportunity to have a home-baseFinancial Plan Bd business and make some extra income, it was a no-brainer for me, I knew I could do this, I knew the products and services in the opportunity would sell themselves, this is when I started to understand what a Financial Plan B looks like. What I didn’t know is that I lacked the confidence to believe in myself.

Nothing new here, the majority of us don’t have a clue of what being an entrepreneur, owning a business, or what a Financial Plan B, is all about, much less determine if we have what it takes to follow through. So I started to read as many books on self-development as I could, sometimes even forcing my kids to listen to audio tapes while on a ride to the mall or the dentists’ office, it is after all the investment towards a Financial Plan B, so maybe all those audios and my experience will instill in my kids a sense of entrepreneurship early in life, and perhaps have their own Financial Plan B in their twenties (hopefully many plans).

Knowing that many who had taken the business opportunity are doing very well, I was not preoccupied on the results for me, I still had a job, the kids had grown enough to find something to do when they were hungry or bored, and we still had a stable income.  But then, my husband was laid-off and while we managed for a few months, sometimes it was hard to tell if we were doing well or worse every time. So the Financial Plan B had to be launched. The best thing is that we did not give up on pursuing a dream to be our own, independent, entrepreneurs. We had learned something that would never change in our minds.  It was comparable to the moment you learn to ride a bicycle, you know you’ll never forget it.

Your investment in a Financial Plan B.

You know you can spend a lot of money on things that will not bring you any profits or even educate you in any way to make profits. When you think of your future and your Financial Plan B, spending on educating yourself should not be a problem, and many of you will agree to that.

Well, the same applies to the services or equipment you need to get in order to get you moving towards developing a Financial Plan B with a business.  For my family, it has been a roller coaster of ups and downs, but we are still going strong, I do not know where the strength comes from, perhaps faith in our success, but we are thankful for what we have, we are keenly aware that any day, any moment we may have a fall, but we know how to get up again and that’s just what we will do!

I hear a lot of people complain about how their mobile phone services work, or that their internet is slow, and yet every month they pay the bill, what doesn’t seem to click in their minds when I tell them of this business opportunity for a successful Financial Plan B, is that they could become their own customers and receive residual income from those same phone and internet bills with this business opportunity, it is the best thing that has happened to us.

Don’t you owe it to yourself to enjoy the fruits of your own labor?

If you are still en employee, you are producing for someone else, you’ll never enjoy the fruits of your labor that way, yes you may have a good salary and perks, but that can come to end because it’s not dependent on you!
